Overview
As an undergraduate research assistant in the Distributed Platforms & Security Lab at Chung-Ang University, I worked on preventing double-spending attacks in private blockchains. The work was published at IEEE and filed as a patent.
Approach
- Proposed a recipient-oriented transaction model that avoids double-spending by controlling the timing of validation.
- Applied stealth addresses and masternodes on the recipient side to preserve transactional privacy and make recipients active participants rather than passive receivers of propagated transactions.
